A. POSITION PURPOSE:

To grow the agent network and nurture the relationships with existing partner portfolio through well-planned sales and marketing efforts, in order to achieve the assigned targets.
 
B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Create agents’ statements and communicate them on a monthly basis.
  • Contact agents regularly to fast track receivables.
  • Generate Accounts Receivables reports and for the department.
  • Perform accounting system closure procedures, on a monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Proactively resolve any settlement and reconciliation related issues (e.g. commission sharing) in coordination with internal departments, and external banks/agents.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and financial data.
  • Regularly monitor cash availability within the agent’s network from as per requirements necessary for routing transactions.
  • Monitor and report on Send and Receive transaction statistics, agent-wise and corridor-wise, in coordination with the Sales Team.
  • Coordinate with agents for timely release of any pending transactions which are unpaid / blocked in the system.
  • Track market rates to compare competitors on daily basis in coordination with the Dealing team.
  • Support during negotiations regarding commissions with agents in coordination with the Accounts department.
  • Any additional assignments as requested by the immediate line of authority.

C. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • AACA Certification or partly qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
